League of Legends Aurora Champion Guide
Aurora Overview
Aurora is a mage champion in League of Legends who hails from Ionia. She excels in the mid lane with a kit focused on poke, waveclear, and teamfight control. Her unique mechanic involves stacking arcane energy that enhances her abilities when reaching certain thresholds.
Abilities
Passive — Arcane Accumulation
Aurora's abilities generate Arcane stacks on enemies. At 3 stacks, the target takes bonus magic damage and is briefly slowed. This passive rewards consistent ability usage and poking.
Q — Lucent Bolt
Aurora fires a bolt of energy in a line, dealing magic damage to the first enemy hit. If it hits a champion, Aurora gains a stack of Arcane on them. Low cooldown, main poke tool.
W — Prismatic Barrier
Aurora creates a shimmering barrier around herself that absorbs damage and reflects a portion of incoming magic damage back at attackers. Lasts for 3 seconds. Great for trading in lane.
E — Astral Surge
Aurora dashes a short distance and releases energy around her landing point, dealing magic damage. The dash can go over thin walls. This is her primary mobility and waveclear tool.
R — Cosmic Convergence
Aurora channels and creates a large zone of cosmic energy. Enemies inside are damaged over time and have their magic resistance reduced. After a delay, the zone detonates, dealing burst damage. Excellent for teamfights and objective control.
